Welcome to All Tongue, my own streaming platform: free, and built without the constraints most artists have to work inside.
Hi, my name is David. I want you to feel amazing. I feel amazing playing this music, and I want you to feel that same peace, connectedness, and grounding I feel when I play this instrument and the tones it makes. It's been a great source of peace for me, and I hope that as you listen, you find that too, and that this time with the music supports you in your day.

Composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound practitioner, culture bearer. David Geathers has spent years in community across Altadena, Santa Cruz, and Long Beach, developing his sound. This work has a way of helping people set the weight down, and stay a while.
He found the tongue drum as an extension of his sound healing set. Steel that rings like water. Played alongside crystal bowls and other resonant metals, it makes a sound that settles into a room and holds it there.
All Tongue is what happens when you play full heart in, and the offering carries you toward a higher frequency. All Tongue is music for a balanced head space: focus, meditation, breath, creative time or rest.
the instrument
What is a tongue drum?
A steel dome with tongues cut into its surface. Each one tuned to a note, each one struck by hand or mallet. There are no wrong notes on it. Every note played belongs.
Strike one tongue and the whole body of the drum hums with it. The tone hangs in the air longer than you expect, and that lingering is the point. It draws your breathing down toward a restful, parasympathetic pace, which is why this instrument turns up in meditation rooms and play centered spaces alike.

how this works
No fine print. An artist to audience connection, here is how it works.
Yes. Every track, as many times as you want, no account required, no app download. Nothing here is behind a paywall and nothing gets locked after a certain number of plays.
No. Listening requires nothing at all. Sharing your email is optional, and it exists so you hear about new music and performances first, not so anything gets unlocked.
Yes. The album is available to buy and download, and it is your copy after that. The streaming here stays free either way.
Contributions go directly to the artist. Currently that is David Geathers. Here is what they fund:
- Production of new recordings
- Live performances, including sessions offered free to the community
- Growing the reach of this work and the spaces it reaches
Yes. This space is built to grow. New work lands here first, and the email list is how you find out.
Yes, for events, private sessions, wellness gatherings, ceremonies, and community spaces. The booking form is on this page.
Only on your own device, in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, no account is needed, and nobody sees them but you. Clearing your browser data clears them.
Please do tell us. If you ever run into a technical issue here, share it and it will get resolved: davidgeathers[at]gmail.com. Thanks!
There is not a long one. Listen freely, share it with people, do not resell it. A short privacy policy covers what happens with your email if you give it, and that is the whole of it.
If this has been good company, you can keep it, or put something toward the next one.
